Pastor Eric first came to Emmanuel back in 1986 when his then girlfriend (now wife of almost 30 years) invited him out to church for a Wednesday evening Bible Study. He was 16 and he saw something that night that would stay with him for the rest of his life. The Bible was being taught in such a way that everyone could understand it. When Eric reached 28 years of age he finally answered the call to vocational ministry. Over the next three decades Pastor Davis has made it his mission to preach and teach the Word of God the way it is to people where they are. Eric and his family have survived many struggles over those decades, (including multiple surgeries on their eldest daughter who has cerebral palsy) struggles that have tried their faith and shown this church that God walks in the fire with His children and on the mountain tops. Those struggles have led Emmanuel to a deeper understanding of God and His faithfulness. Join us this Sunday and listen to the Word of God preached by a broken man to broken men and women.
